Major League Rugby Playoffs - This Saturday, June 30, features the two semifinal matches in the inaugural season of Major League Rugby. The League offered an eight-game season among its seven teams. On top were the Glendale Raptors at 7-1. Second were the Seattle Seawolves at 6-2. Both matches will be played at Infinity Park, Glendale. The final will occur next week on July 7 at Torero Stadium San Diego.

Women's Head Coaching Opportunity - Grand Canyon University - Phoenix, Arizona - is currently seeking a Head Coach for Women's Club Rugby.  This position serves as the head coach in GCU non-divisional sports and is responsible for planning, directing and strategizing sports or athletic programs and tactics for developing winning teams in assigned specialty. Also, assists in organizing, recruiting, coaching and administering sports activities to individuals or groups at the University’s recreational facilities. National Clubs Seven Tournaments - USA Rugby scheduled an Eastern Open and a Western Open for select sevens sides in contests this weekend. Each Division will offer an eight-team challenge to qualify for the National Club Championship. The Eastern matches will be played at NOVA, Virginia, and the Western games at Treasure Island, San Francisco.

New Women's Junior All-Americans Head Coach - James English was named Head Coach of the Women's Junior All-Americans. He is the General Manager of New York's Rugby United, the newest entrant into Major League Rugby for next season. English will prepare the 34-Women for two international matches later this summer. He is assisted by coaches Kittery Ruiz and Kate Daley.

Argentina Appoints New Head Coach - Mario Ledesma, Coach of the Jaguares, has been named new coach of Los Pumas. Argentina lost nine of the past eleven-Tests, and that marked the dismissal of Head Coach Jorge Sampaoli. Ledesma has fourteen-months to reverse the downward trend before Japan RWC 2019. Argentina surprised the world with a third place 2007 RWC placement, defeating France in Paris. They ended fourth in the 2015 England RWC losing to South Africa.
