U20 Tournament- The annual U20 event, comprised of twelve nations, continues with its second round this weekend.  

France defend their 2018 title. Les Bleus defeated England in last year's title contest.

The matches are in Argentina for the second year in a row. Games are played in the cities of Rosario and Santa Fe.

In the opening match this year, Ireland upset England, the first time the U20 Red Roses lost in pool play in the twelve-year history of the event.

The twelve sides are: Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji (new, this year), England, South Africa, Ireland, Italy, Georgia, Wales, Scotland, and France

U20 Trophy Tournament- The second tier U20 event began with a North American qualifier as Canada beat the USA 44-33 in Canada. The winner advances to the U20 Trophy tournament to be played in Brazil this July. The second Can Am match is June 8, also scheduled for Shawinigan Lake, Canada. The young Eagles must win, and by more than 12-points to move into the U20 Trophy July event. The USA coach is Scott Bracken.

The winner of this eight-team competition will be promoted next year to the U20 Championship.

Major League Rugby, Semi-Finals- The second season semi finals take place this Sunday, June 9, when RUNY play away at San Diego, and Toronto travel to Seattle.

The standings of the top four teams follow:

San Diego: 61 points (12-3-1)

Seattle: 58 points (11-4-1)

Toronto: 57 points (11-5-0)

RUNY: 54 points (11-5-0)
