Women's Sevens in Langford, Canada- The fifth round of the 2018/2019 HSBC Women's Sevens series moves to Langford, Canada, this weekend. The matches will be played in Westhills Stadium on Saturday and Sunday.

Twelve teams will be play in three pools as follows:

A - Canada, Australia, Ireland, Brazil

B - England, New Zealand, Russia, China

C - USA, France, Fiji, Spain

Canada defeated England 7-5 to win the last event in Japan. It marked the first tournament ever when New Zealand or Australia did not make the semifinals. Further, Russia snapped the Black Ferns 37-match win streak with a 17-17 tie. 

The current standings after four tournaments show New Zealand in first place.

New Zealand = 72

Canada = 66

USA = 64

Australia = 56

France = 46

The top four countries will qualify automatically for the 2020 Japan Olympics.

The USA schedule for Saturday, May 11 is:

v. Spain at 12:12 (local time)

v. Fiji at 14:56

v. France at 17:40

All matches will stream live at www.worldrugby.org.
