Paris Sevens, Men's Finale- The tenth and last event in the HSBC 2018/2019 series will take place this weekend at Stade Jean Bouin, Paris. The stadium is located in an attractive district in the southwestern part of the city, in an area that resembles the Forest Hills, NY, tennis complex.

The finale represents a two-way battle for the championship between Fiji and the USA. The Eagles need more than two points to surpass the Fijians and win their first 7s title. Fiji have won five out of nine events this season. The USA won the Las Vegas tournament.

Penn Mutual Collegiate Rugby Championship- The eleventh iteration of the Penn Mutual CRC will occur at Talen Energy Stadium, Chester, Pennsylvania, starting Friday with women's matches in the adjoining pitches. On Saturday, much of the action moves inside the stadium, home to the MLS Philadelphia Union. Sunday ends the affair with the presentation of trophies. Lindenwood Women and Men will defend their 2018 gold medal titles. Of note, is the return after a year 's absence of California, former, five-times in a row winner of the Men's CRC crown.

Major League Rugby, Final Week- The 19th and last week in the elongated 2019 schedule terminates this weekend with four teams in second place tied with 53 points competing for the four-team playoff. San Diego have already clinched the league title even if they should lose and not earn a bonus point. Their scoring point differential guarantees first place at season's end even if tied with 57-points. The four squads jammed with the same point totals are: RUNY, Toronto, Seattle, and NOLA.  RUNY and Toronto will meet in Canada.
