The USA Men's National Team is expected to name its November touring squad today.

Takudzwa Ngwenya, who was thought not to be available, could well now be on the team - a happy piece of news for everyone involved. Meanwhile, negotiations to bring Samu Manoa in for at least one test match have broken down, mainly because Manoa could not commit to the entire three-match tour.

Here is what we at expect to be the squad, with Todd Clever as captain:

Derek Asbun Rosslyn Park RFC

Chris Biller Not Attached
Chris Chapman New York Athletic Club
Todd Clever NTT Shining Arcs
Peter Dahl Belmont Shore RFC

This signals the return to the 15s national team of Peter Dahl, back for the first time since 2009, and Robbie Shaw, who is back with the USA setup again for the first time since 2009.. Several players from the ARC have been promoted to the full test side.

The US-based players leave the country on Saturday, November 3, and assemble with the European-based players Sunday in Colwyn Bay, Wales. They play Russia on November 9, Tonga on November 17, and Romania in Romania on November 24.
