A debutant and the return of several veterans headline the USA's roster for its Americas Rugby Championship Saturday in Montevideo, Uruguay. Eric Fry will start after coming off the bench against Brazil, Titi Lamositele has finally been released from duty with Saracens, and Todd Clever has returned as captain after missing the last match.

The rookie in the starting lineup is Deion Mikesell, who earns his first cap in just his seventh-ever 15s match. Mikesell, a freshman at Lindenwood, played high school rugby in Iowa, where they play 7s exclusively. Fellow Lion Lorenzo Thomas, who made his debut in the 64-0 win over Chile, is also in the starting 15.

The USA is essentially fighting for second place in this match. The loss to Brazil knocked the Eagles off the pole position, as they were in really good shape with two games to go. With a loss Saturday, they can finish as low as fourth.
