Gregor Paul at the New Zealand Herald is reporting that the New Zealand Rugby Union and USA Rugby are close to agreeing on a full USA v New Zealand test match in November.

Earlier this fall the All Blacks had discussed coming to the USA to play a match, but potentially playing some sort of invitational XV, as the proposed date for the match would fall outside the official test match window.

But now it seems as if the game could be between the Eagles and New Zealand. Certainly USA Rugby wants the game to be with the full United States team, but will need their best players to make it work.

According to Paul, Soldier Field in Chicago, or FedEx Stadium in Landover, Md., just outside Washington DC, are possible venues. A decent crowd at either stadium would crush USA rugby attendance records.
