The All Blacks clinched their third successive SANZAAR Rugby Championship title with a decisive victory against Los Pumas in Argentina. The score was 35-17, with the Kiwis up 21-3 at the break.
The victory gives New Zealand a total of 21 points (16 regular off four wins, and five bonus points). The All Blacks cannot be overtaken even if they lose to South Africa away next Saturday. Although both sides would end the season with a 4-2 record, a Springboks win via a four try tally would only add six points to their current 14 points total (i.e.; four points for the win and two points for the four tries) or 20 points maximum.
Since 2005, New Zealand are 9 wins and 6 losses when playing away in South Africa.

In the other contest, South Africa handed Australia their fourth defeat of the 2018 Rugby Championship, winning 23-12 in Port Elizabeth,
The Springboks led 2012 at the break, and the second half witnessed no tries from either fifteen. The Wallabies could end up in last place (the wooden spoon placement) should they fall to Los Pumas next week in the final match to be played in Argentina.
