Dartmouth All Americans Nate Brakeley will start at lock forward for Cambridge University in the 131st Varsity Match, to be played at Twickenham Dec 6.

Several USA players have played in the Varsity Match over the years, but almost all of them for Oxford. The first to play for the Light Blues as far as anyone knows was former Eagle scrumhalf Doug Rowe a couple of years ago.

Brakeley, 23, will line up against Jason Law, former Cal standout, who is in his second year at Oxford. Law, 24, is pursuing a Master's in Sustainable Urban Development from Kellogg.

Recent Varsity Match participants include current Eagle Derek Asbun, and former USA prop forward Will Johnson.

Brakely is pursuing a Master's Degree in Energy Technology at St. Edmund's College in Cambridge. The 6-5 lock burst onto the starting lineup this season.
