Ireland vs France

With Wales mounting a clinical 18-11 victory over Scotland, the 4-0 Welsh fifteen can clinch the 2019 Six Nations Championship with a victory at home against Ireland next Saturday, March 16. Wales are on a 13-game unbeaten streak, having lost last to Ireland a year ago 37-27 when the Irish were on route to the 2018 Six Nations crown via their own Grand Slam.

England routed Italy 57-14, and still have a chance for the title (as do Ireland) if final round permutations break their way. Ireland kept in the running with a 26-14 win over France.

Standings to date:

Wales 4-0

England 3-1

Ireland 3-1
