The Canadian U20s completed a sweep of the Junior All Americans Saturday in Blaine, Minn., beating the hosts 32-19 and outscoring them six tries to three.

The game was played in a stiff, cold, imposing wind. Canada had the gusts at their back in the first half and built a 27-7 lead by halftime. The Junior All Americans outscored Canada 12-5 in the second half, when they had the wind.

The Canadian did a good job of shutting down American outside center Mike Te’o, who didn’t make much of an attacking impact all game. The play of No. 8 Tama Paogofie-Buyten was one of the few bright spots for the Americans.
