USA Rugby has found a title sponsor for its men's and women's national teams through the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. EY deals in assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services. As Principal Partner, EY will provide business strategy, digital and technological transformation services to USA Rugby. This includes fan and player engagement and experience capabilities, marketing and analytics, and development of revenue models.

The Eagles will wear EY across their chest when Canterbury, the new kit provider announced in January, clothes the USA for the first time since taking over for Adidas. The uniform sponsorship effectively replaces Fly Emirates, which had been the principal jersey sponsor since 2009. Last year, USA Rugby announced a five-year extension with Fly Emirates, which should have lasted through 2023, but the deal was scuttled early.  

In the interim, the men's 7s Eagles wore the logo for the Golden Eagles, their de facto booster club, on their jersey at Vancouver 7s after wearing Medallia at the USA 7s. The 15s team sported #EaglesUnited during the Americas Rugby Championship.

EY is looking for the partnership to support its diversity and inclusiveness programs and initiatives, including the Athlete Transition Program, Women Athletes Business Network and Women in Leadership and Technology.
