USA Selects flanker Liam Murphy is out of the remainder of the Americas Rugby Championship with a grade 2 shoulder separation.

University of Utah All American John Cullen will replace him.

Murphy, who plays for Boston RFC, left Friday's game against Argentina after 13 minutes after blocking a Jaguars clearance kick. In the cold the air ball can get very dense and heavy, and the impact separated the flanker's shoulder.

He will not be back for the Selects. Meanwhile, Cullen was a potential pick for the Selects earlier, but was initially unavailable. However, he became available later, and has been on the alternate list since then.

The 6-5 lock/flanker was a standout for the All Americans in their tour of New Zealand, where he worked with current USA Selects forwards coach Justin Fitzpatrick.

Cullen will join the team soon, possibly tomorrow, and could well find himself on the 22 against Canada.
