USA flyhalf Toby L'Estrange is done for the rest of the year, as ligament damage in his foot qill require surgery.

The NYAC outside half will have to work hard to get back into full fitness for the start of the NYAC's spring 2014 season.

"Very disappointing personally to have missed out on the end of the game on Saturday," said L'Estrange, who came off in the second half of Saturday's 29-19 loss to the Maori All Blacks. "But it was still great to be part of such a great day for USA Rugby on the whole. Unfortunately these injuries are just part of playing rugby and I'll have to make sure I work hard to get my recovery right and then move on."

The Eagles will have to decide how to fill the hole at flyhalf, but they do have several options in Zach Pangelinan, Folau Niua, and Adam Siddall. L'Estrange says that the way the team is feeling, it might not matter all that much.

"I guess the biggest thing the team can take away from Saturday is confidence," he said. "It took us a little while to get into the game but moving forward I think matching it with the Maoris and performing in front of a vocal crowd will give the guys so much belief heading into the Georgia and Russia games."
