June 7th saw some interesting test matches played around the world, as nations look to next year’s 2015 Rugby World Cup in the UK.
Australia 50 – France 23, Suncorp Stadium. France, perennial runners up in the RWC, have yet to find the right mix of players.
New Zealand 20 – England 15, Eden Park. The weekend’s most exciting match. One try and five conversions to five conversions for the visitors. England played with only seven players from the last Six Nations contest.
Argentina 17 – Ireland 29. Estadio Centenario. The Irish remain the only Home Country never to have advanced into the RWC Quarter Finals.
Fiji 25 – Italy 14. ANZ Stadium. Fiji demonstrating it can play the XV game.
These eight quads repeat this Saturday June 14 in their second test matches.
