Barbarians practice

New Zealand vs. Barbarians - The Autumn international series begin with a non-Test match (no caps awarded) between the invitational Barbarians against a second side New Zealand XV at Twickenham, England. The match celebrates the 125th anniversary of the New Zealand Rugby Union. These teams have played ten games since 1954 with New Zealand ahead 7-2-1. All Black star Beau Barrett at fly-half, will captain the New Zealand side. The Baa-Baas are coached by Robbie Deans, former Australian head coach. The match begins at 3 p.m. local time.

The 2018 Six Nations championship begins February 3 and February 4.

Women's Premiere League, - Three teams have already booked a place in the 2017 championship round: Glendale, New York, and Beantown. The fourth spot will be decided this Saturday between San Diego and Berkeley.

Silicon Valley Sevens - The inaugural California, Bay Area-based tournament is this weekend November 4th and 5th,  a two-day event at Avaya Stadium, San Jose. Sixteen international sides and eight regional colleges will compete. Tickets at Rugby and music festival.
