There were plenty of high profile matchups in DI College this week and the better ranked team won in all but one case. The only matchup that yielded a different result saw UCLA and San Diego State tie 23-23.
Number one St. Mary’s flexed its muscles with a win over BYU while Life edged Lindenwood 22-18. It was a very close call, but the committee elected to keep BYU at four and Lindenwood at five.
Navy got into its spring action, thumping Dartmouth 88-8 and knocking them out of the rankings entirely. Taking their place is DIAA fall champs Mary Washington. The Mothers make their way into the rankings for the first time this season.
Arkansas State dropped several spots to 14 thanks to a closer than expected game against Clemson. The Red Wolves won 14-10 in a game that they were expected to win comfortably.
Grand Canyon continued its hot streak with a win over Utah. The Utes drop to 22 overall.
UCLA made a big jump to 20 from 25 thanks to the tie with SDSU.
