There were several marquee games in DI this week that solidified the rankings. Six of the top 10 teams played this week, including two top 10 matchups.

St. Mary’s bested BYU for the second time this year. This time the Gaels went into Provo and beat the Cougars. It is only the second time in history that has been done. (Cal beat BYU in the 2016 Penn Mutual Varsity Cup final)  The teams stayed ranked at one and four respectively.

Cal took on Army in the Cal Invitational and the game was a shootout. The Bears won 50-41 but Army had a good showing. The Black Knights move up to number seven with the close loss.

As part of the Cal Invitational, UCLA lost to Cal 58-3 and dropped a spot to 19. Colorado State slides up behind Utah Valley and San Diego State, who took care of Santa Clara this weekend.

Grand Canyon took down UC-Davis 45-14 over the weekend in the other ranked match.

The rest of the rankings remain unchanged.
