Women 7s at Commonwealth Games: Day One on Friday saw the three favorites, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada move forward with two victories each. Fiji and England ended 1-1. Of the three unbeaten leaders, the Black Ferns looked exceptional winning with two shutouts; 41-0 against South Africa, and 48-9 versus Kenya.

The Men 7s commences tomorrow. Finals for Women and Men are on Sunday.

Eagle Men vs. Canada in June: The USA Eagles will play Canada in a Test match June 23 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The match will be played at the Wanderers Grounds. This game will serve as a tune up for the Scotland Test later this summer.

England Youth Gathering:  More than four hundred male youth players gathered at Wellington College, Berkshire, England, for game play and instruction in this annual rugby training festival. The boys came from the 14-regional academies and participated in short games under adapted laws. In addition, they were lectured about nutrition and anti-doping laws.
