It's one month until the start of the World Rugby Sevens World Cup to be played July 20-22 in San Francisco's AT&T Park.

This represents the seventh event in this global series. The last tournament was held in Moscow in 2013. New Zealand won the gold, defeating England 33-0. The Kiwi Women beat Canada 29-12 to take gold, also. The Russian tournament was sparsely attended.

The July event will welcome 24 Men's side and 16 Women's team.

The Women's opener will spot Fiji against Spain. The Men begin with Kenya versus Tonga. The USA Women start with China, while the Eagle Men will face Wales or Zimbabwe.

Of major importance is that this is a "knock out" tournament and will not follow past sevens series format of three-match pool play.

One loss, and a team is eliminated.
