There was some movement at the top of the rankings thanks to a pair of non-conference games.

Grand Valley State tested itself against a DI school and was beaten solidly by Notre Dame 57-21.  GVSU falls from number four to number nine.

The most noticeable game of the weekend was the other non-conference. After giving Duluth a tough game in the Northern Lights earlier this year, Winona State soundly defeated an undefeated Northern Iowa. Winona State jumps 10 spots to number 11 after winning 64-12.

The other mover of the week was NC State. The Wolf pack proved it was real by beating VMI. The pack slots in at number five.

A couple of teams made their way into the top 25. Providence remains undefeated in a tough Rugby Northeast. The Friars won a tight game with Roger Williams and will square off with Bentley in the coming weeks for conference supremacy.

The other team to enter the rankings is UW-Milwaukee. Milwaukee thumped Northern Michigan 48-17 and comes in at number 25.
