Games are being played, teams are winning and losing, but there's still little movement in our Top 25. Why? Our ranked teams aren't losing very often, and when they do lose, it's to a team ranked higher than them already. With the ACRC bowl weekend and a few more compelling non-conference games in the coming weeks, there will be plenty of chance for our rankings to prove themselves accurate, or not.

As it stands, the only ranked teams to lose since our last publication were Air Force and Davenport. The Panthers were beat soundly by Arkansas State in Grand Rapids, Mich., but the Red Wolves would beat most teams soundly. They also left Pacific Rugby Premiership runner-up Glendale in their wake earlier this fall. So Davenport drops, but just a couple of spots, as Clemson and Air Force move up.

The Zoomies weren't ranked until recently, given their poor performance last season. This fall, they're crushing everyone in the West, which is traditionally one of the tougher conferences in the country. We can justify them leapfrogging so many teams from No. 25 to 16th because of the drastic nature of their score lines. Not only have they beaten Colorado and Colorado State convincingly, they've done it scoring over 50 points in both games. They piled up 61 on New Mexico, which played Arizona closer, and a 12-point loss to Navy indicates the Zoomies belong in the top 15.

Of course, when you move a team ahead so many spots, jumping them over many teams that haven't lost, teams will drop a ranking spot or two and feel spurned. That's the plight of AIC, Bowling Green, Arizona, Indiana and Michigan, who move down despite winning.

Another team with a strong case to feel hard done by is Oklahoma. The Sooners are undefeated this fall, and they beat Texas somewhat comfortably last weekend. Unfortunately for the Sooners, no one is losing enough to warrant their inclusion.

Wait why is BGSU on here? Aren't they in that new league where half the team is ineligible? I kid. But seriously, their coaching staff sure are a stain on the game, and should be ashamed of themselves for many years to come.
