Slotting four penalties and a conversion in adverse conditions, All American and capped Eagle Will Holder helped propel Army to a 24-19 win over Kutztown Saturday. The win makes the Black Knights 1-0 in Rugby East.

With Delaware having a down year so far, the Rugby East race will be decided by three teams and their six games against each other. Army scoring a road win against one of those teams will be crucial in terms of the playoff hunt.

Holder's ability to net 14 points from the boot was especially impressive given the strong wind that affected the game through lineouts and kicking for territory.

Holder is in his final semester at West Point, and though the 15s and 7s Eagles would love to keep him playing rugby, he'll probably wind up fulfilling his duties as an Army officer instead. The military's World Class Athlete Program may even be a reach for Holder, so this spring could be our last to enjoy Holder's play for some time.
