Maka Unufe picked up an injury in Wellington, not especially serious, but bad enough to keep him out of action at Sam Boyd Stadium. He will be replaced by Rocco Mauer in a straight wing-for-wing switch.

Mauer was already slated to be in Las Vegas to play for the USA Falcons in the Men's Elite 7s bracket of the Las Vegas Invitational. He will now be promoted to the first team.

The main difference between the two players is that Unufe is somewhat larger than Mauer and can play as a forward if called upon, whereas Mauer is an exclusive back.

The Eagles, however, are deep in forwards.
