Billy Millard, who coached Australia's 7s team, Australia A, Sydney Universities, Cardiff Blues, and Connact, will be joining the club soon in early May and will become the new 7s Head Coach and 15s Backs Coach.

Millard joins an extensive coaching staff at NYAC, but one that is heavy in forwards expertise. With Mike Tolkin coaching the USA National Team, the AC wanted someone who would run the backline, teach skills, kicking, and attack, and also work on 7s.

The hiring of Millard is a message when it comes to 7s. An enthusiastic coach of 7s, Millard will be expected to bring the NYAC 7s program back to prominence. He will be working with Neil McMillan and Justin Hundley on the 7s program this summer.

"He will be a massive addition as we've been working on trying to find a way to bring him here for several years," said NYAC Head Coach Bruce McLane. "He fits in with the NYAC culture is and will greatly enhance us.
