According to reports, Charlotte Rugby Club, which was for a while a Super League team and was slated to play in the South DI league, has pulled out due to low numbers.

That leaves the South with only three teams once again, a state of affairs that continues to plague the region. No word yet on how USA Rugby will handle a league that has fewer than the minimum four clubs involved, but it's likely we might see a last-minute addition, or some extra games cobbled together to make the league work.

Life, New Orleans, and the Atlanta Renegades all remain in South DI. All have had success on the national level, but all are now struggling to find sufficient competition.
