Kenya celebrate victory

Cape Town's first day revealed some surprises and a consensus that more parity exists in this year's HSCB World Rugby Sevens. Teams that did not fare well in Dubai (e.g.; Kenya, Canada, France) showed sparks of renewed life, although, for the Canadians, it still was not sufficient to make it into the top eight. The Canadians started off with an upset over New Zealand but tied France.

Tomorrow, rhe USA will meet a reinvigorated Kenyan side that beat continental rival South Africa.
