Week Three will, for all intents and purposes, determine the Six Nations 2015 Championship when undefeated England meet undefeated Ireland in Dublin on Sunday. The UK odds makers have made Ireland a narrow 5/6 favorite. Last year, Ireland won the event on point’s differential, their one loss coming to England when both XVs finished 4-1. So, these rivals will be looking to continue without a loss.
The Irish have won their past nine test matches, dating back to the 2014 loss to the Red Roses. Methodical and determined has marked the Irish style of play that succeeded producing wins against Australia and South Africa during this past autumn's test series. England lost to the All-Blacks in the same fall tour.
Meanwhile, second ranked aspirants, Wales and France will meet at the Stade Francais on Saturday. Both teams need a win to go 2-1 and keep hope alive for a possible tie or and outside chance to win the championship. The French have had mixed results at home in front of the enthusiastic national crowd. The betting odds are 4/6 for a Les Bleus victory,
Finally, once again, 0-2 Scotland and 0-2 Italy will play for what might be their only victory in the tournament. The loser will be 0-3 and on their way for the traditional wooden spoon for last place. Scotland is heavily favored at 1/6, playing at home.
