England celebrate French win

In Round One of the 2017 Six Nations Cup (Men’s) England achieved its 15th victory in a row, defeating France at Twickenham 19-16. It was a dull slug fest, with France prevailing 16-12 late in the second half until Coach Eddie Jones sent in fresh legs to pull out the victory. The win represented the most consecutive victories for the Red Roses as they pursue the All Blacks record of 18 in a row.

In the two other games, Scotland beat Celtic rival Ireland 26-22, marking its first, first game Six Nation win in many years. Wales had no trouble trouncing Italy at home 33-7.

The attention will be riveted to Cardiff where Wales has the chance to beat its historic rival, and end England’s streak.
