The next Six Nations Women’s weekend, March 10, should decide the title in the NatWest sponsored championship in 2018 for that is when undefeated England will meet undefeated France. The winner could also achieve a Grand Slam (i.e.; wins against all five opponents).
The Red Roses have a 137-points for and 15 points against record that compares almost equally with Les Bleues' tally of 107-3. England won this Six Nations last year, and, with a successful program of paying professional players, are slightly favored against the French.
Ireland Women kept title hopes alive with a 35-12 rout of Wales. The Irish will meet England away in the final match of the season.
For the record, France shutout a hapless Italian XV 57-0 and England had an easy time beating Scotland 43-8.
